What is Dynamic pricing for eCommerce
Dynamic pricing in ecommerce is a SaaS solution that is interconnected with your eCommerce and uses algorithms to adjust prices in real-time based on demand, customer data, and competitor pricing. It can communicate with any eCommerce through API service or with manual import through excel. Our Dynamic pricing solution offers two modules:
1. Rule based prices - set your prices based on competitors
2. Automated price management - Machine learning module that can optimize prices automatically. It can be adjusted for maximized sales or maximized profit, depending on which set of rules are selected in the app.
Steps to implement Dynamic pricing to your eCommerce
Define Your Goals and Log Into the Dynamic pricing App: Before you implement dynamic pricing, it is important to establish what you are trying to achieve. Are you trying to maximize profits, increase sales, or attract more customers?
Collect Data: To effectively implement dynamic pricing, data such as demand, sales, stock level, competitor pricing is needed. All the Data can be imported from Excel or with API form your eCommerce and ERP.
Set the Rules: Once the data is imported, pricing rules can be set. Rule setup and administration is easily managed from our Dynamic pricing web App.
Monitor and Adjust: The final step in the process is to monitor the results of the dynamic pricing and adjust as necessary. This includes analysing customer behaviour and market trends to determine if the pricing strategy is working or if changes need to be made. Integrated Analytics in Dynamic pricing App will give you all the information needed.
How does it work?
Dynamic pricing app collects data from the market (competitor prices), from your ERP (margin, stock level) and your eCommerce (Sale out, demand, customer data) and uses them to calculate optimal price based on set of rules you choose. It can communicate with eCommerce and ERP via API or with manual import (excel spreadsheet).
Your job is just to set the rules in the App, for example rules could be:
1. I want to be 1% cheaper than Competitor X, or
2. I want to be 1 eur cheaper than whole market or
3. I want price optimized for max Margin
Each pricing rule has integrated protection policies, like authorization needed for new price, respect minimal margin or minimal price, stop the rule if stock is below X days.
